I have created a Library Thing account and have added some of my favorite books. I really like learning about other cultures which are vastly different to where I live, especially India and Africa.

- Interests of mine include travel of any kind, but mainly to tropical destinations with different cultures to Australia, playing and listening to music, tennis, gardening as an aesthetic and therapeutic activity, and an almost obsessive fascination and interest in anything 'Indian' - food, novels, landscape, religion, people, photography, etc. I am assuming this started when my parents subscribed to National Geographic and also from reading and watching the movie of the Jungle book as a kid. Vikram Seth's, 'A suitable boy', which is an epic 1400+ page turner, has kept me up too late at night, but that's ok! jojo

Was interested in your books on LibraryThing - if you are interested in Indian culture, you might enjoy 'A Fine Balance', by Rohinton Mistry - probably one of my favourite books.
